Class Descriptions

Vinyasa Flow - In this class poses will flow from one to another in conjunction with the breath. This class is not intended for beginners and the pace may be fast at times. Students should have an understanding of basic postures and sun salutations; the flow is taught more than specific postures. Awareness of breath is essential to reap physical, mental and spiritual benefits of this practice.

Yoga Basics - This class is specifically designed for those new to yoga or those wishing to deepen their practice through the refinement of foundational technique. Students focus on the fundamentals of a vibrant yoga practice including breath awareness, basic yoga postures and practices leading up to meditation to cultivate flexibility, strength, relaxation and self-awareness.

Morning Yoga - This class is slower paced, focusing on the intricacy of poses, the practice of breath and centering. Beginning practitioners will learn a solid yoga foundation, including awareness of the breath and various practices to bring peace through connecting with the essence of yoga.

Relax & Restore - Props are used to create postures of full relaxation held for several minutes. Restorative yoga alternately stimulates and soothes the organs; paired with Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) and meditation, the body and soul are fully nourished.

Asana and Alignment - In this class you will focus on varying key groups of postures with a focus on how the body works when in alignment with its optimal blueprint. This class compliments any type of existing yoga practice you currently have. Not recommended for brand new yoga practitioners, one series of basics classes are recommended.

Vinyasa Basics
- This one hour movement-based class offers creative sequences of poses that flow together with the breath. We will focus on the coordination of breath with movement, leaving the student feeling energized and more focused. This class is excellent for those wanting to venture out of Yoga Basics and also for those who enjoy slowing down their flow to focus more on awareness of the breath and body connection. Each class will end with 20 minutes of rejuvenating Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep). Open to all levels of experience.
