Lisa Fleming

Lisa is a Registered Yoga Teacher certified at the 200-hour level with the Yoga Alliance.  She knows first hand that yoga can be a healer. Lisa was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythmetosis at the age of 11, and feels she has finally found the best treatment for her “dis-ease” thru yoga. Her Lupus went into remission shortly after she began her practice, and she has never been healthier! Although fairly new to teaching, she feels that sharing what she has learned with others is not only her responsibility in this lifetime, but also her passion, and she is very excited to be a part of the OneTree community!

Dawn Miller

Dawn loves to bring the practice of mindfulness of the present moment into her yoga classes. She was drawn to yoga during a very stressful time in her life and through her practice, realized that life is really a series of moments connected together, one-by-one. Missing out on those moments really means missing out on life. The practice of yoga can be transformative, and she enjoy creating and cultivating a healing place and space for her students. Her classes emphasize reconnecting with the breath, calming the mind, and nurturing the body through a combination of pranayama (breathwork), meditation, and asanas (physical postures). She completed her 200-hour certification with Mary Pat Murphy and Rowan Silverberg who led a joyous teacher training program based on the Anusara principles of attitude, alignment, and action. She is also most appreciative of Jan Hauenstein of T.R.Y (Therapy, Reiki, Yoga) 4 Life who guided her through advanced and master Usui Reiki training. Dawn has a Master’s degree in Medical Anthropology and a long-standing interest in cross-cultural health and healing practices. She also enjoys photography, gardening, and spending time in the great outdoors.

Enlightenment, peace, and joy will not be granted by someone else. The well is within us, and if we dig deeply in the present moment, the water will spring forth. – Thich Nhat Hanh
